Hello Venus Nara (Kwon Nara) will join as lead role of her first terrestrial drama after debut.
A drama rep said on March 30 to Ilgan Sports, "Nara will star as lead role in SBS new Wed - Thurs drama 'Suspicious Partner'"
Nara will act as Cha Yoo Jung who was reinstated as a prosecutor after finishing overseas training. As Ji Chang Wook (Noh Ji Wook)'s ex-girlfriend, sometimes she reveals her heart towards Ji Chang Wook with feeling sorry, sometimes boldly, sometimes sexy but she feels sad when no response is shown. She feels strange feelings to Choi Tae Joon (Ji Eun Hyuk) after going to Ji Chang Wook's house.
This is the first time for Nara to act. She has been in independent movie but this is her first time in traditional drama. Especially she joins as the lead role of terrestrial mini series and this is her first step as an actress. In 'Suspicious Partner' audition process, she showed better acting skill than many actors and passed it proudly.
'Suspicious Partner' is a heart-fluttering romance drama that reveals Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun fight and reconciles the prejudiced world and grows through sacrifice. The lead casting has complete and script reading will be held next week. The production was in-charge by writer Kwon Ki Young who writes 'Protect the Boss' 'All About My Romance' and etc, and it will be directed by director Park Seon Ho who co-directed 'Jackpot' 'Legend of the Blue Sea.
It will be broadcast in May following the current 'Saimdang, Light's Diary'.
